Before you go
- Review the Vibe, general area, host profile, and conversation before deciding.
- Ask questions when details are unclear. A listing or reply is not a safety guarantee.
- Tell someone you trust where you are going and when you expect to return.
- Arrange transportation you control and keep enough battery to get home.
- For a first meeting or uncertain plan, consider a public place and bring a friend.
Protect personal details
Public map pins are approximate. Keep that protection meaningful by avoiding a home address, routine, phone number, access code, or other sensitive detail in public-facing text.
Share more specific coordination details only with the people who need them, and remember that recipients can still copy what you send.
If you host
- Describe the plan, setting, timing, capacity, costs, and expectations honestly.
- Use the reply or approval flow deliberately; you do not owe anyone access to a private gathering.
- Protect addresses and entry details until you are comfortable sharing them.
- Set boundaries, plan for transportation, and end the gathering if conditions become unsafe.
If you join
- Do not arrive at a private place without clear permission from the host.
- Respect the host, venue, other guests, property, and a change or cancellation.
- Leave if something feels wrong. You never need to stay to be polite.
Use Viblly’s controls
Blocking prevents new shared map and direct-chat interactions between the accounts. Reporting and support contact help flag concerning behavior for review. These tools do not replace emergency services.
